Transportation (Busing)

Information and Cancellations

All students attending Our Lady of Mount Carmel School will travel to and from school via school bus. Bus numbers will be assigned in September.

In the event of severe weather conditions, bus cancellations will be announced on the following radio stations:

First Rider Program

The First Rider Program is intended for new JK/SK students. It is designed to teach the children safety rules and give them their first ride on a bus in the company of their parent(s). The program will take place Saturday, August 18, 2012, and is approximately 45 minutes in length. We encourage all parents to take advantage of this valueable program and register at the location of your choice. THIS PROGRAM IS OFFERED ONCE ANNUALLY IN AUGUST.

PLEASE NOTE: The Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board Transportation policy states that a Parent/Guardian must accompany all JK/SK students to/from the school bus.
