School Uniform Information

All students attending Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Elementary School must adhere to the board dress code / uniform policy.

PLEASE NOTE: OLMC crests may be purchased in the school office at a cost of $6 each.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to purchase iron on name tags to be inserted in uniform pieces, please visit http://mtcarmel.mabel.ca to order. Name tags ordered here will help support the OLMC CSC fundraising efforts.

Board Uniform Policy

The Board Uniform Policy states, “The Principal, in consultation with the Catholic School Council, shall develop a student dress code as part of the Code of Student Conduct.”

The Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board's Elementary School Uniform Standards

The school's designated supplier has these appropriate items. You may purchase these items from other sources as long as they are comparable (colour, style, fabric).

Tops: White or Navy Blue

Bottoms: Navy Blue (No Cargo Pants, No Fleece Material)

Please Note: The above are the minimum items that were approved originally as a system standard. School Communities in consultation with the Catholic School Council, Principal, and Parents could add additional items to the above items. Any visible under shirt (usually a t-shirt) must be solid white or solid navy blue.
